Diablo 4 Season 6 is starting today (October 7 PDT), but more importantly, its first-ever expansion Vessel of Hatred will also be released. With the biggest chunk of content drop since the launch of the milestone ARPG, many fans of the game are excited to try it out. Thankfully, Blizzard Entertainment has already confirmed the expected launch time for the expansion and the new season, allowing gamers to plan their day out.

In this article, we share the updated release time for Diablo 4 Season 6 and the Vessel of Hatred launch, along with details of the preload.


Vessel of Hatred release time: When does Diablo 4 Season 6 start today?

Vessel of Hatred will be released on October 7 at 4 pm PDT / 7 pm EDT. Diablo 4 Season 6 also starts at the same time, sunsetting Season 5 content in the process. This is what the launch time looks like for various server regions:

  • United States: 4 pm PDT / 6 pm CDT / 7 pm EDT (October 7)
  • Europe: 11 pm GMT (October 7) / 1 am CEST (October 8)
  • Asia: 3 am GST / 4:30 am IST / 7 am Beijing time / 7 am PHT / 8 am JST/KST (October 8)
  • Australia: 10 am AEDT / 12 pm NZDT (October 8)

You can preload Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred (but not on Steam)

The Diablo 4 Season 6 patch will have to be downloaded when it's out in earnest. However, those who have pre-purchased Vessel of Hatred can preload it on consoles and PC.

PC users must visit Battle.net, where the expansion has been available for pre-download since September 30 (4 pm PDT). Steam users, however, will have to wait until the launch of the expansion.

Xbox and PlayStation players can preload the expansion by visiting the store page (available since October 5, 4 pm PDT).
