Alongside the Infernal Hordes, Diablo 4 Season 5 introduces a new Battle Pass with Hellish rewards to grind. Like with any other live-service title, the Season Journey with Diablo 4's Battle Pass adds a parallel set of seasonal checklists to tick, and free handouts to obtain. However, the checklist is bigger and better for players on the 'Premium' track.
Are the extra spoils for a premium Diablo 4 Season 5 Battle Pass worth it? Read along to find out.
How much is premium for Diablo 4 Season 5 Battle Pass?
If you want to get some exclusive goodies, there are two premium Battle Pass Upgrade packs you can buy. The basic Diablo 4 Season 5 Premium Battle Pass costs $10 (USD), and this will get you everything available on the full reward track.
An even more expensive option is the Accelerated Premium Battle Pass, which will knock you back $25. This will give you a flat 20-level jump on the Battle Pass progression, and instantly unlock the exclusive Infernal Birthright Emote. The Emote is not available to purchasers of the regular Premium Battle Pass.

Seasonal Blessings
Non-Premium players also get to enjoy the Diablo 4 Seasonal Blessings as part of their Seasonal Journey unlocks. Season of The Infernal Hordes Battle Pass introduces the Urn of Spoils and Urn of Abyssal Knowledge. Seasonal Blessings, once chosen, will last up till the end of Season 5.
- Urn of Spoils – Boost the chance to receive a Legendary Item from Spoils of Hell chests, found while fighting Infernal Hordes.
- Urn of Abyssal Knowledge – Boost the chance to receive an Abyssal Scroll from Spoils of Hell chests, found while fighting the Infernal Hordes.
- The Urn of Aggression – Boosts experience earned from Monster kills.
- The Urn of Whispers – Boost the chance to receive a Greater Collection from Whisper rewards.
- The Urn of Nightmares – Boosts Paragon Glyph XP earned in Nightmare Dungeons.
All of these rewards unlock passively through Seasonal Journey goals. Once you decide on whether the Season 5 Premium cosmetics are worth it, there's usually not much to focus-grind separately to unlock tiers. If you have a high playtime, you will likely unlock most tiers. If you're a newcomer, it's better to focus on what builds to try in Diablo 4 Season 5.
