Angelbreath is an important item in Diablo 4 - especially if you want to upgrade your Health Potions. You’re going to need to have some of this on hand as early as level 30. While it isn’t common, there are some ways to farm it pretty easily throughout the demon-ravaged lands of Sanctuary. You’re going to want piles of this herb to craft a variety of Elixirs through the game’s various Alchemists.

Finding a particular amount of Angelbreath is also a part of Diablo 4 Season 6’s Season Objectives. So, knowing how and where to farm it will make one of those objectives incredibly simple. Although there is no specific place to farm Angelbreath, here’s how we gather it in D4.

The two best places to easily farm Angelbreath in Diablo 4 is through Nightmare Dungeons or Helltide Events. If you’re going to the Nightmare Dungeon route, make sure to farm dungeons that are densely populated since the herb drops off enemies. The more foes you slay, the better your odds.

However, the best place for us was through Helltide events. Angelbreath frequently drops from the Blood Maiden, either separately or in a Herb Bundle. On top of that, you can farm the Blood Maiden for shards and just open Helltide Tortured Gift chests. In my experience, they drop frequently this way.

Frankly, the Blood Maiden during peak hours is my favorite way to farm Angelbreath. There are typically plenty of players popping Baneful Hearts, so you can just join in and reap the rewards. The final easiest way is to complete side quests that reward an Herb Cache. These often drop Angelbreath as one of the rewards in Diablo 4.

However, these aren’t the only ways to get Angelbreath. One of the new Mercenaries, Subo, can reveal the locations of Ore/Herb bundles in the wild. Angelbreath drops from Herb nodes, so making him your primary Mercenary can make these locations easier to find while exploring. Through these methods, you should have no problem gathering enough Angelbreath.
