Even though Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred has a new level cap of 60, it takes some time to get there. If you’re on the Eternal Realms, it could be much faster, since your high-level characters will likely start off at Level 50. That means they have way less work to do in order to reach the level cap and start racking up the Paragon Levels.
These tips aren’t the only way you can go about leveling up quickly, either. You can always group with friends, and that’s a fantastic way to level up; take advantage of that exp bonus for being in a group.
However, the fastest ways to level belong in Season 6, thanks to the power of the Seething Opal elixirs. If you want to know our advice for leveling as fast as possible in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, here’s what we recommend.

Tips for leveling quickly in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred in Season 6
Leveling a Season 6 character in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred isn't especially complicated. There are plenty of activities to rack up tons of experience points, and there's really no wrong way to do it. There are, however, ways to maximize your gains.
One of the biggest chunks of exp you can get in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred is completing Strongholds. They give you a massive amount of exp, at least one level per Stronghold. Another good idea is to always have a potion active, but in the Season of Hatred, you’ve got a better option than just regular, mediocre potions.
Seething Opals of all varieties grant you +15% exp for 30 minutes, in addition to whatever other benefits it’s giving you. That makes it worthwhile to go out of your way and farm Realmwalkers and wrap up the various Seething Portals they open. Even if you have to just use Iron Chunks to get Gold Seething Opals, that’s still worth having.
I also recommend playing on Normal for most of the seasonal playthrough. This is mostly because you want to kill enemies as fast as possible. If you have a powerful build capable of going through Hard/Expert swiftly then by all means. Otherwise, just relax, and play on Normal. You do get more exp for harder difficulties, so only jump to them when you’re ready.
Once you’ve unlocked the Kurast Undercity in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred’s storyline, this is another amazing way to level fast. You can pick up various Tributes to use here in this timed dungeon challenge, which can increase your exp gain. Tributes are found in Undercity, Whisper Caches, Nightmare Dungeons, and Helltides. They’re also fun, and relatively fast. They’re worth doing in abundance, whether solo or in a group. Frankly, they’re more enjoyable in a party.
The other best way to level up is frankly, doing Helltides. If you’ve got some Seething Opals stacked and it’s busy on the server you play on, jump to wherever people are farming Blood Maiden, and slaughter the enemies there for easy chests, gear, and exp. I wouldn’t do this the whole way, but it’s a good option when you’re trying to scoop up some gear and other useful items.
At Level 60, you’ll start farming Paragon levels, and I recommend doing this on Torment, mostly for the experience bonus. That and you can perhaps get lucky and start getting Mythical Uniques, and there are some truly amazing ones in the game right now.
