Throne and Liberty break away from the traditional class-based combat systems found in free-to-play MMOs by not having any Classes. Despite this, you can still choose your role and abilities to fit a certain archetype in combat. With the upcoming Open Beta on July 18, 2024, many players are eager to learn about the game's combat system and how to choose their roles without the game having a Class system.
This article covers everything you need to know about the class-less combat system in Throne and Liberty.
Throne and Liberty does not have a Class system, but you can specialize builds through weapons
As mentioned, there are no Classes in Throne and Liberty. However, you can still choose your role in combat by equipping two different types of weapons. Each weapon features a unique set of Active and Passive skills. Since your character can equip two weapons at the same time, you can select up to 12 Active and eight Passive skills from either of the weapon skill lines optimal for your role.
