This means you can join groups, fight enemies, and explore the open world all together on your favorite platform. For a game with such large-scale PvP, this will probably be very helpful to keep player numbers high for Throne and Liberty. Unfortunately, the upcoming free-to-play MMO Throne and Liberty will not be offering cross-save to its players. This means that if you start a character on PC, they will not carry over to your Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 even if they're on the same account. Any levels, items, or other forms of progression you engage with will stay exclusively on the platform that you achieve them.

Although crossplay will allow you to make characters on different platforms it may not be recommended given how progress-dependent MMOs are. It would be best to pick your favorite platform and do all of your main gameplay on there, only going to different platforms to mess around on side characters.

There are many reasons developers may choose to not have cross-progression enabled in their games, especially an MMO. A game from this genre is usually very dependent on discouraging hacking or item duplication, especially since it will most likely have an in-game economy. Allowing cross-progression will often complicate these issues and make it far easier for players to engage with game exploits.

Although, unfortunately, this will not be available, many will understand that it is probably for the better if these are the developers' concerns.
