Dogen in Palworld is a brand-new dog-like Pal added to the game through the Sakurajima update. It is a pure Neutral-type entity and is #122 in the Paldeck. Because of its typing, Dogen is weak to Dark-type creatures like Incineram, Cawgnito, Maraith, Tombat, Vanwyrm, Katress, and more.

Where to find Dogen in Palworld

Dogen can be found in the location shown in the picture above. The place is marked in orange and is north of Sakurajima Island. This creature usually occupies the new island's central areas, but you may find a few wandering off to its coasts parts at times.

How to catch Dogen in Palworld

Dogen is weak to Dark-type Pals. So, you should use monsters of this elemental typing or those with access to strong Dark-type attacks.

You can use the following Pals to lower Dogen's HP before trying to catch it:

You can also use powerful weapons to deal damage to Dogen if your Pals are ineffective against it. Once you bring down this creature's HP to about one-fourth of the health bar, you can throw high-tier Spheres like Ultimate Spheres or Legendary Spheres to catch it.

You shouldn't use low-level Spheres for this purpose, as this Pal will resist almost all Spheres you throw at it.

Work Suitability of Dogen

Dogen is good at a lot of things when it comes to base-related work. It has level 3 Handiwork, level 2 Gathering, level 1 Medicine Production, level 2 Lumbering, and level 2 Transporting Work Suitabilities. Hence, it is a nice Pal to have as a worker at your base.

How to breed Dogen in Palworld

You can use two Dogen of opposite genders to breed this Pal in the game. As of writing, no other creatures are known to provide an egg that produces a Dogen hatchling.
