With numerous items being added to Fallout 76 in the Skyline Valley update, there's a potent weapon that you can get your hands on. The V63-Helga is a heavy weapon that can be acquired through the Neurological Warfare public event. It has extremely high damage and penetration, making it a great choice for anyone using a Heavy Gunner build.
While the gun is extremely potent, acquiring it can be challenging, as some steps first need to be followed. That said, this article will explain how to get the V63-Helga in Fallout 76 Skyline Valley.
How to get the V63-Helga in Fallout 76 Skyline Valley
The first step to acquiring the V63-Helga is locating the Hawksbill Weather station, which is in the Skyline Valley region. After finding it, nuke the area around it to start the Neurological Warfare public event. Triggering this event summons a boss named Storm Goliaths in the weather station.
After the boss has been summoned, defeat it and hopefully, it will drop the V63-Helga. Note that the boss is quite potent, and the chances of it dropping the heavy gun are quite slim. However, you should get the weapon if you repeat the process multiple times.
Storm Goliaths are three giant robots that get a defense buff as soon as one of them is defeated. A tip for taking them down is to reduce their HP before attempting to do so. Also, since the bosses are quite powerful, try entering the arena with builds that deal high damage.
V63-Helga Legendary Effects and more
The Fallout 76 V63-Helga is one of the best guns in the game, and the Legendary Effects that it drops with are good. Here are all its effects:
- +50 Armor Penetration
- +25 Damage While Aiming
- -90% Weight
These are the best Legendary Effects that one can have in a heavy gun. The Armor Penetration this weapon has reduces your opponent's armor by 50%. It also comes with +25% damage while aiming, making this weapon the ideal choice to take down a single enemy with high HP, such as bosses.
The weapon also comes with a Lightweight Effect, decreasing its weight by 90%. This allows players to use it more efficiently. You can pair this weapon with Power Armor for a solid build that has high damage and defense.
