Fallout 76: Skyline Valley expansion is the 19th expansion for the game and it is one of its biggest. Aside from the brand new region, weapons, and more, there are various new public events like the Neurological Warfare event in Skyline Valley. This new event is part of the Skyline Valley Questline.
Fallout 76 Skyline Valley takes place in a fictionalized version of the real-life Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. While this expansion is inspired by American Boy Scouts and Summer Camping hobby, the Neurological Warfare event goes full sci-fi and makes you fight giant robots in typical Fallout fashion.
What is the Neurological Warfare event in Fallout 76?
The Neurological Warfare event in Fallout 76 is a new endgame event introduced in the Skyline Valley update. You can trigger it by simply nuking the region. However, worry not, as this won’t destroy anything and make the wasteland even more of a wasteland. Unlike other nuke events, this one does not create a blast zone but instead causes a storm that detonates the nuke in the atmosphere.
This leads to a security system activation at the weather facility tied to Vault 63. Once it is done, the Neurological Warfare event starts. Remember this is an end-game event so equip all of your best gear and power armor before initiatingit. Keep on reading to get more tips for the event.

Fallout 76 Neurological Warfare mechanics: How to beat this endgame event
The event takes place in an arena at the Hawksbill Weather Station, where you must fight against three Storm Goliaths alongside other robots and Lost. This fight is by far the hardest in the game. The Storm Goliaths get increasingly tougher as you kill their companions. The best strategy to deal with them is to keep their health at the same level and kill them at the same time.
To start the event, players must head to the Hawksbill Weather Station and interact with the new icon that appears there. The weather station turns into an arena. Bring your friends, your best armor, and anything that can help you survive.
Tips and tricks that can come in handy
Some tips for the boss fight:
- Equip the Blocker perk card under the "Strength" perk tree to prevent the Goliaths from using their melee attacks.
- Cripple the Goliaths quickly to prevent them from using their melee attack.
- Try to use a long-range build rather than a melee build for this fight.
- The robots attack energy damage so equip armour with high energy damage resistance
