Fallout 76 Skyline Valley expansion is one of the game's largest expansions to date. This latest expansion adds new weapons, gears, and locations and is themed around the American Boy Scouts and the Summer Camping Activities, with a post-apocalyptic wasteland twist. Among all the new weapons coming with the new expansion, one of the most effective is the Ticket to Revenge Railway rifle. This rifle used to be especially effective for the bloodied builds in Fallout 76 before it was nerfed to the ground.
In this article, we have shared the steps for getting the Revenge Railway Rifle gun in Fallout 76 Skyline Valley.
How to get Ticket to Revenge in Fallout 76 Skyline Valley
Fallout 76 has two types of weapons, Legendaries and Non-Legendaries. While Non-Legendaries can be found almost anywhere on the map, the Legendary weapons are much rarer, and finding them mostly depends on RNG. Legendary weapons can only be found by killing legendary enemies.
However, Ticket to Revenge is one of those rare Legendaries that has a 100% drop rate in Fallout 76 Skyline Valley. It is because Ticket to Revenge is not a random weapon but a quest reward; you are guaranteed to receive this item once you complete the respective quest.
Below we have shared the steps to follow to get the Ticket to Revenge weapon:
- Complete the Between The Lines quest granted by Hugo Stolz to begin the Skyline Valley expansion storyline in Fallout 76 Skyline Valley.
- Seeking Shelter is the fifth primary mission in the Skyline Valley expansion and the second within Vault 63. To get started, interact with the ghoul Audrey Stolz.
- Complete the Seeking Shelter quest. Once you complete this quest, it will reward you with the Ticket to Revenge railway rifle upon completion
Is the Ticket to Revenge any good after the last-minute Skyline Valley PTS nerfs?
After the release, Bethesda was quick to nerf the gun as it was simply too powerful.
Before the nerf, the gun’s abilities were:
- The gun's damage rises as your HP falls, reaching a maximum of 95%.
- 50% chance of landing a VATS critical hit.
- VATS critical charge increased by +15%.
After the nerf the abilities got changed to:
- Furious (deal more damage with each consecutive hit) instead of Bloodied.
- Increased fire rate rather than accuracy of vats.
- 90% lighter weight as opposed to 15% more crucial fill.
This nerf ruined the gun for Bloodied builds. But thanks to the double ammo capacity, increased fire rate, and significantly lowered carry weight, Ticket to Revenge is still worth it in Fallout 76: Skyline Valley.
