The Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail expansion will be available in early access on Friday, June 28, 2024. Players who preordered it will be able to start playing early, while others will have to wait till the official release of patch 7.0 on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. However, the first Raid series will not be released with the expansion. Instead, it will be added with a later patch to give players ample time to enjoy the main story at their own pace.
This article lists the schedule for the upcoming patches in Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail.
Disclaimer: Some of the later patch release dates are speculative based on the previous expansion's consistent four-month patch cycle.

The schedule for Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail patches was confirmed up to patch 7.05 during the eighty-second Producer Live Letter earlier this month. Players can anticipate the Normal version of The Arcadion Raid series to arrive two weeks after the official expansion launch, followed by the Savage version two weeks later.
Previously, both Raid difficulties would be released simultaneously. However, players would often rush to unlock the Savage version for the 'Race to World First,' missing out on the storyline. So, to ensure that players had ample time to enjoy the story, Square Enix decided to stagger the release of the different Raid difficulties.
