For those eagerly awaiting the new expansion, here's a countdown:
Being a global release, users across all regions should gain access at the same time, as long as they have redeemed the Dawntrail Early Access registration code. Note that console players who pre-ordered the expansion will not need to manually register for either Early Access or the full release of Dawntrail.

How long is Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail Early Access going to last?
As clarified in an official blog post from Square Enix, Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail Early Access will end on Friday, July 5, 2024. The exact timing of this will be 12 am, relative to the region your Square Enix account is registered with.
For instance:
- For NA users, Early Access ends at 12am PDT
- For European users, Early Access ends at 12am GMT
- For users in Japan, Early Access ends at 12am JST
Technically, Early Access should end with Dawntrail's full release on July 2. However, PC users must register the Dawntrail retail code (distinct from the Early Access code) before this deadline for uninterrupted service on their account.
This requirement to register again only applies to those who play on Windows, Mac, or Steam, and not those on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
