Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail has finally added new dailies, in the form of the Pelupelu Allied Society. These are similar to the tribal dailies that players have experienced in previous expansions. Though the system has undergone quite a few name changes over the years, the gameplay loop feels similar. Once you’ve wrapped up the main story of Dawntrail, and have the spare time, you can unlock these quests. It will be a fantastic way to level up your jobs you haven’t bothered leveling until now — at least, for the combat ones.
Like some of the previous expansions, this is not only a great way to level up under-powered jobs, but you can also unlock some amazing cosmetics, such as a pet and a mount, such as with the Arkasodara faction in Endwalker.
How to unlock the Pelupelu Allied Society quests in Final Fantasy 14
Once you’ve completed Final Fantasy 14’s Endwalker Main Scenario Quest, you can begin unlocking the Pelupelu Allied Society quests. All you need to do is reach Tuliyolall, head to (13.6, 12.9), and speak to the Blue-garbed Pelu. They’ll give you the quest, An Intrepid New Enterprise, and the Pelu will go over the problem they’re currently facing.
They’re trying to start a new tourist agency, the Tural Travel Agency and you’re exactly who they need to get started. If you’re interested (and why wouldn’t you be), head to Ok’hanu. There’s a quest location you’ll see pop up on your map when you teleport to Ok’hanu. Head there, and interact with it for the next part of this Pelupelu Allied Society unlock in Final Fantasy 14.
After arriving at the appropriate destination, you’ll a short cutscene is triggered where you can do a cute emote with the other NPCs. You can choose to do it or not be as enthusiastic, that’s entirely up to you. After this cutscene wraps, speak to Lipu again, who will ask you to lend a hand. You really don’t have much of a choice, so you may as well dive right in!
This is the next part of the Final Fantasy 14 Pelupelu Allied Society quest unlock. After the next cutscene, speak to Lipu one more time, and you’ll have another objective location directly to the southeast. So, head down there, and speak to Genuhanu. You’ll be given another dialogue choice, and while you don’t have a wrong answer, I picked “It shouldn’t all be about the reeds.”
The next step is to head southwest to the next quest marker on this Final Fantasy 14 quest. Speak to Zelihali, where I warned them about “water-related mishaps”. Finally, head west and speak to Xenuhanu at the next objective marker. At this one, I remarked about dangerous fiends being nearby. With that, head back to Lipu outside of Ok’hanu.
Another cutscene will play out to wrap up this part of the Pelupelu Allied Society quests in Final Fantasy 14. To complete the quest, you’ll need to head over to Dock Poga, which now has an Aetheryte Crystal. Unfortunately, you likely aren’t attuned to it yet. If you have access to flying, it won’t take long at all.
Completing this quest will, in addition to Gil and EXP rewards, grant you the Ohokaliy Emote! With this, you’ve unlocked the Tural Travel Agency and Pelupelu Allied Society quests in Final Fantasy 14.
You can pick up three quests a day, and, as you increase your reputation with this faction, you can get great rewards. These are best done with jobs between 90-99, so you can level up quickly.
