Fortunate Star is the new entry to the Destiny 2 Solstice pool, joining three other weapons that are time-limited. The new weapon is a Lightweight Framed Void Bow which comes with several new perks to tackle the current sandbox. The bow is a niche weapon type for any game mode, which puts a lot of pressure on the Fortunate Star in 2024.

Here's a list of all the recommended perks on the new Fortunate Star Bow for PvP:

Polymer String for increased Accuracy and improved Charge Time
Fiberglass Arrow Shaft for increased Accuracy and reduced Stability
Hip-fire Grip for increased Accuracy, Stability, and Precision hit targeting while firing from the hip
Archer's Gambit for a significant bonus to draw speed upon landing hip-fire precision hits

While the perk combination mentioned above is meant for those looking to play from the hip at all times, Archer's Tempo and Opening Shot are meant for players looking to fight while aiming at them.

Lastly, Enlightened Action and Precision Instrument are great perks to have as well.

Repulsor Brace for gaining a Void over-shield after defeating void-debuffed targets
Destabilizing Rounds for applying Void Volatile debuff on targets after kills. This debuff can be applied to any enemy within 6.5 meters of the target

For a more boss DPS approach, players can go for the combination of Precision Instrument and Enlightened Action.

How to get Fortunate Star in Destiny 2?

Fortunate Star is an event-exclusive weapon from Solstice. Players can get these weapons as a drop from completing the "Bonfire Bash" activity via the Tower. Each completion will drop multiple weapons, randomized between the available four pieces in the game currently, alongside a handful of Silver Leaves.

Fortunate Star can also be picked from completing the Event objective "Lighting the Forge."
