The Glacioclasm has been a powerful asset for Destiny 2 players for several years now. It is a High Impact Framed Void Fusion Rifle that can easily shut down elites and Champions, alongside dealing substantial damage to bosses. With the recent re-issue of the weapon in Dawning 2024, players will find the Glacioclasm to be even more potent than its previous version.

This article lists the best perks of the Glacioclasm in PvE and PvP. Note that since this weapon falls under the High Impact category, it significantly increases the Charge Time, while having a high damage output.

Here is a list of all PvE perks recommended on the Glacioclasm:

Arrowhead Brake for reduced recoil and increased Handling.
Accelerated Coils for reduced Impact at the cost of reduced charge time.
Overflow for reloading the weapon from reserves upon picking up ammo bricks, overflowing from capacity.
Withering Gaze for applying weakened debuff on targets after aiming the weapon for a short duration.

Reservoir Burst has been a popular perk on the weapon ever since it first came out. Hence, opt for this perk if you want to clear out a group of mobs. Other alternatives, such as Subsistence, Controlled Burst, and High Impact Reserves, are considered decent perks for PvE.

Polygonal Rifling for increased stability.
Accelerated Coils for reduced Charge Time at the cost of damage.
Slideshot for increased Range and Stability after sliding, while also partially reloading the magazine.
Closing Time for increased Accuracy, Range, and Handling, while having low magazine.

Lone Wolf and Air Trigger are great alternatives in the third column, alongside Vorpal Weapon and High-impact Reserves in the fourth.

How to get the Glacioclasm in Destiny 2

The Glacioclasm is an event-exclusive weapon from Dawning and can only be acquired when the event is active. For the Glacioclasm, you can focus the weapon from Eva's 'Focused Decoding' section, and get a version with randomized perks. Note that the Glacioclasm cannot be crafted via regular means. However, you can enhance each perk on the weapon by leveling it up.
