The Guild Wars 2 Falling Star is an Ascended rarity spear that players can obtain in Janthir Wilds. To begin unlocking this item you must first purchase the achievement from the Wizard's Vault. This is a completely free shop system whose currency cannot be purchased with real money. After the Falling Star Quest License has been bought, you can begin collecting for it.

Guild Wars 2 recently released its newest expansion, Janthir Wilds. This is the second implementation of their new release cadence, which started after End of Dragons. This new style involves creating smaller more narrowly focused expansions that release faster. This is in contrast to their previous cadence which had extremely large expansions that were released after many years in development.

Crafting Falling Star spear in Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds

The first part of creating this ascended spear in Guild Wars 2 is to unlock the Vault Dispatch achievement. This is done by opening the Wizard's Vault in-game and navigating to the Astral Rewards tab on the left. Here you'll find the Falling Star Quest License in the scrolling front page menu. Purchase it for 1000 Astral Acclaim.

This will give you access to the Falling Star: Vault Dispatch achievement. By completing this up to a certain point, you'll unlock the Crafting List collection, which is the next part of the process of crafting this spear.

To begin collecting the Crafting List items in Guild Wars 2 Janthir Wilds, first, work your way through the Vault Dispatch achievement. Once you've finished step 6 of this, found in the Black Citadel, you'll unlock the needed collection achievement.

It's important to note that everything in this collection is purchased from heart vendors. If you have a character who has completed more of these than others, you may want to do this on them to save time.
