When does the Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure Through the Veil go live?

The Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure Through the Veil update is set to go live on November 7, 2023, across all regions. The developers are yet to reveal the release time for the same. As for the download size, considering the amount of content that's being added to the game, it could very well be a little over 2 - 3 GB, but then again, this is speculation for now.

There will most likely be a server downtime before the update goes live, so players will have to wait till it concludes and then log into the game to experience the new update.

What's more interesting is that this update will be free for everyone who owns the Secrets of the Obscure expansion. Those who don't own the expansion will have to purchase it to get the content that will be introduced in the Through the Veil update.

In this update, players will be able to explore the Inner Nayos map. They'll also be able to participate in a new encounter type known as Convergences. It's believed that these are large-scale rifts that will allow groups of up to 50 players to challenge some of the toughest enemies in the game.
