Wires play a vital role in Once Human for supplying power from generators to various facilities around your base. The game's survival and base-building mechanics are heavily inspired by Bethesda's Fallout series, requiring you to set up an intricate circuit of wires to power up your base.
However, you might make a mistake and place a wire incorrectly while trying to connect a rooftop solar panel to a basement furnace. Although wiring sounds simple, it can be challenging without the right approach. To make your wiring chores a little easier in Once Human, we have shared all the necessary information you will need in this article.
Guide for adding and removing wires in Once Human
In Once Human, the electrical circuits are pretty simple. There are usually three components: The generator, pylons (and switches), and the facility that needs power. You will need to attach a wire from the power generator to the facility. You can customize the path of the wire using pylons or control the power flow using switches.

Keep in mind that, unlike Fallout, there aren't restrictions on wire lengths in Once Human, regardless of walls or obstacles. The only practical reason for building pylons in the game is to systematically and aesthetically arrange wires around your base. On the other hand, you can use switches to control the flow of power and make your base more optimized.
