The Frost Walker in The First Descendant is one of the main boss encounters in the game, also known as Void Interceptor battles. It looks like a giant crab with ice- and cold-themed attacks. Its general loop is quite simple, but due to its high damage and frustrating enrage phase, defeating it can be quite challenging.
Don't worry, though. This article offers a detailed guide on how to bring down the Frost Walker in The First Descendant.
Guide for beating the Frost Walker in The First Descendant
Like most of the Void Interceptors in The First Descendant, the Frost Walker has both a normal phase and an enraged phase. It also has a party wipe frost attack that can only be countered by collecting all the glowing red embers dropped when you shoot at its weak points. You must collect all six embers to summon the anti-freeze shield that can save everyone inside it from the freeze attack.
The best strategy here is to collect the last ember right before the boss performs the attack in order to have the most optimal anti-freeze shield duration.
