How to craft and place Automatic Doors in Once Human

Building Automatic Doors in Once Human is a little tricky. Although the build menu has loads of options and choices for various structures, furniture, and other items, it does not have an Automatic Door that would complement the amazing contemporary houses that players are creating in the game.

Nevertheless, whenever the developer is unable to provide something the players need, the community always steps forward to make their own arrangements. The same happened in this case, as the Once Human community has figured out ways to make any door in Once Human operate as an Automatic Door.

Guide for making Automatic Doors in Once Human

To make an Automatic Door in your base, you'll need the following primary components:

• Door
• Camera (Dynamic Sensor)
• Switchboard
• Pressure plate
• Wall Terminal

Once you have these components, the challenging part begins. You'll need to connect them all together to create an Automatic Door. First, place the door where you want it in your base. Then place two pressure plates on both sides of the door. After that step is done, place the Switchboards on the wall on both sides of the door.

Once the Switchboards are placed, connect them to your Power source. You can use wall terminals to do this. After the boards are connected, place a Dynamic Sensor or Camera right beside each Switchboard. Make sure the Camera has a clear view of the pressure plates. Connect the camera with the Switchboard and repeat the process on the other side of the door.

Once this whole circuit is complete, turn the Switchboard to green. Your Automatic Doors are now ready. Whenever you walk on the pressure plate, the camera will recognize you and open/close the door. No Deviants, whether friendly or hostile, can make the Automatic Doors open when they stand on the pressure plate.

Only the players who are on your team can make the Automatic Doors open. Keep in mind this whole setup can be very fussy. So don't be disheartened if it doesn't work on your first try. Keep trying, and eventually, you will find the right combination that will make the Automatic Doors work properly.
