How to craft and use the Auto Miner in Once Human

The Auto Miner, or Mining Operation Platform, in Once Human is a production facility that you can craft. You get access to it in the advanced stages of the game, and it speeds up your ore collection process. This production facility is essential for the late-game resource grind, as it helps you spend more time completing objectives and less time manually collecting resources.

Once Human: How to craft the Auto Miner

To craft the Auto Miner in Once Human, you need to go to the Memetics screen. Once there, you need to select the Infrastructure tree and scroll down. The Miner unlock is located at tier five of the infrastructure tree and is known as the Mining Operation Platform.

Once you have unlocked the Auto Miner, you need to craft it with materials you scavenge, disassemble, and craft. To craft the Miner, you will need:

• 25 tungsten ingots
• 30 electronic parts
• 15 metal scraps
• 15 adhesives
• 20 rubbers
• Four storage batteries

You need to construct the Auto Miner in a spot where there is an abundant supply of minerals, and it needs to be within your territory. You might need to move your territory in Once Human to a location where you can mine more ores.

In order to know which spots have a good ore supply and of what kind, you need to construct a Resource Detector at a Supplies Workbench. It is a hand-held device that shows you what minerals you can get where you are standing.

You need the following items to craft a Resource Detector:

• 15 aluminum ingots
• Five glass
• 20 electronic parts
• Three storage batteries

So, once you have crafted your Resource Detector and found which spot has an abundant mineral supply, move your territory there. Then, build the Miner at the exact spot where you have detected the minerals. Connect a power supply and one or two water tanks to the Miner, and you are ready to go.

The Miner also uses the Digby Boy Deviant companion in order to have automated mining. So make sure that you have the Digby Boy Deviant in an Isolated Securement Pod.
