With the recent Palworld Feybreak update release, you will come across areas implementing a hot status effect upon you. Notably, there are also desert biomes in the base game that work similarly. Traveling in these heated locations without precautions will slowly diminish the health bar and eventually eliminate you.
This article will thoroughly guide you on surviving hot weather conditions in Palworld.

Surviving the hot weather in Palworld, explained
Palworld features a weather system that significantly affects your health while traversing the world. With the thermometer indicating the weather conditions, the game has three distinct temperatures: normal, cold, and hot. Extreme weather conditions such as cold and hot require you to take precautions. Otherwise, your health bar will significantly drain and eventually kill you.
If the thermometer's arrow points to the extreme right in the red section, a "hot" status effect will apply to your character. Following that, the health bar will deplete slowly at first, but will significantly decrease after a few seconds.

To deal with the hot weather, you must undergo the following methods:
- Pals with cold resistance: You can equip certain Pals, such as Kitsun (61) and Reindrix (59) to deal with hot weather conditions.
- Cooler: To build a base in an area boasting hot weather, first build the Cooler or the Electric Cooler. However, be sure to place them near your base.
- Armor: Equip armor such as the Tropical Outfit, Heat Resistant Metal Armor, Heat Resistant Pelt Armor, Heat Resistant Plasteel Armor, and Heat Resistant Hexolite Armor to survive hot weather. Purchase these from the Wandering Merchant situated at the Duneshelter. On the other hand, you can also craft the armor via the High-Quality Workbench.
- Accessories: Equipping accessories such as the Heat Resistant Undershirt or the Multiclimate Undershirt will also help in heated areas. These are purchasable at the Wandering Merchant situated at the Duneshelter.
