Credits in SWTOR are the standard currency that you will use, and as a new player, you might struggle to earn them. You will need this resource for almost everything in the game, from getting gear and character perks to buying cosmetic items and mounts. While simply completing story missions will get you credits, the process is slow.

In this article, we will talk about a couple of ways with which you can easily make credits in SWTOR.

How you can easily make credits in SWTOR

Given below are two ways which will help you get more credits as a new player.

1) Selling crafting materials

Once you complete your quests on your starting planet, you can go to your faction's Fleet, and learn gathering skills from trainers present there. There are various gathering skills like Archaeology, Scavenging, Bioanalysis, etc.

If you are free-to-play, you can only get two skills for one character, while subscribers get three. If you have more characters, split different gathering skills among them.

Once you get the gathering skills, you can visit different planets where you will find various resources on which you can use a specific gathering skill. These will get you crafting materials like crystals, metals, fabrics, and so on.

Collect as much material as you can and then put them on sale on the Galactic Trade Network—the in-game marketplace in SWTOR. Selling these materials in bulk will get you a lot of credits with each sale.

However, if you are not a subscriber, keep in mind that you have a one million credit cap in your inventory. So keep transferring your credits to the Legacy Cargo

2) Flashpoints

Flashpoints are small raids in SWTOR that you can play solo or in a group. You get access to them as soon as you are done with your starting planet. They are usually pretty short, so you can easily play a few of them regularly and still have enough time to progress your class storyline.

Veteran Flashpoints from the groupfinder are the best choice if you are doing these raids, as they usually give more credits than storymode or solo Flashpoints. You will also be in a group, so it would boost your EXP gain as well.

Moreover, groupfinder Flashpoints have a weekly bonus, where you have to play three Flashpoints. Once you play the required beer, you will get bonus credits and EXP from the weekly mission.

There are a couple of more ways with which you can easily earn a lot of credits in SWTOR. However, those are not easy for new players and also will not work if you are free-to-play. Hence, the two ways mentioned above are the best options to earn SWTOR credits quickly if you are new to the game.
