Having a proper Acid Farm is extremely important in Once Human due to how much of the resource you'll need. Acid is used for crafting many things, but most importantly, it's necessary for crafting ammunition. In the late game, you will need a lot of it to keep up with the numerous enemies you'll be fighting.

There are several efficient ways of farming Acid based on how easy you want the farm to be and how powerful your character is. Most of these methods are active, involving you running through certain areas and fighting enemies for their loot. Many of these methods may also reward other types of rare and useful Once Human resources like ore.

Some of these ways, however, are passive, allowing you to collect Acid while AFK, doing other activities, or even logging out of the game. In this guide, we explain the best ways to farm Acid and to carry out these methods as efficiently as possible.

Once Human Brookham Acid Farm (60 - 200/hour)

The town of Brookham in Once Human is one of the first areas new players may encounter. This place has a low-level requirement for its activities and weak enemies inside of it. Since most mobs here are around level 8, you should be able to kill them quickly even if you lack good gear or a high character level.

The best way to set up an Acid farm here is to find the dense mob areas and create a loop for yourself to run through. This path should take you from a designated starting point, pass through each of the most populated areas, and then return to the beginning. Running this loop over and over kills all enemies you encounter, allowing you to loot them.

The most important part of a good Acid Farm is that you can complete your run quickly. If you're at a low level in Once Human and are struggling to kill enemies with one or two hits, you should improve your character or stick with the easiest farm.

Highbank Acid Farm (80 - 200/hour)

One of the benefits of this farm is that Highbank not only has many buildings that enemies can be inside or on top of but also several chests to loot. It's a good idea to first walk through Highbank to map out which areas you wish to hit in what order. Some of the recommended spots in town are those dense with houses and the market zone, as they tend to have many enemies in or around them.

Once you've created your path and decided whether to include chests in it, you can begin running your loop. If you find that your loop is slow or feels inefficient, you may need to head back to your Once Human territory and work on crafting better gear. The enemies here should be close to level 14, so if you feel that will be too high for you, then this farm may have to wait.

Holtown Acid Farm (200 - 300/hour)

The Holtown farm is much higher level than the other two we've covered so far, but it is very efficient. Just like with Highbank and Brookham, you'll need to map out a route to go through on each iteration of your farm. The nice part about Holtown is that it is small but densely packed. This means you can hit a large number of areas with high mob density in a short time.

The biggest issue with this farm will be getting good enough gear to one or two shot every enemy you encounter. As always, if this is a problem for you, then your efficiency will greatly decrease and you will be better off farming lower areas.

The final farm on our list is extremely difficult to pull off. You will need a near-max level character and top-tier weapons and armor to run it efficiently. This is a level 45 zone with a very high mob density and multiple bosses. If possible, use your Once Human motorcycle to improve the speed of this farm, making it even better.

The most efficient pathing for this is to find a good starting point and run through as many enemies as you can on your way to the secondary boss. This will fetch you a large amount of Acid if you're able to kill all the enemies. Another benefit of this area is that killing the secondary boss can yield a lot of stardust as a rare drop.

Passive Acid Farm

If you want to farm Acid at all times, whether while playing, logged out, or AFK, do so passively. This method requires several high-level pieces of housing equipment, however, so it will be a rather late-game development.

To start this farm you'll need to have a territory and base that are near polluted in game zones. The reason for this is that it will allow you to use water collection devices to gather polluted water. A good place to have your base may be near a shore, as you can quickly pull contaminated water in from the ocean. This resource is generally useless, but with the proper knowledge, it becomes very important.

To utilize the polluted water, you must also install filtration systems in your home to remove the Acid from the water. This will leave you with several containers worth of both drinkable filtered water and Acid that can be used for crafting. As mentioned, this is a housing-intensive process so you may want to join a Once Human player group before attempting this.
