How to farm Anode Ion Particles in The First Descendant?

The First Descendant’s Anode Ion Particles are a frustrating crafting material to farm. Used in a few recipes, they can be found on several maps in rather low amounts. However, there is one map in the Hagios region that stands out above all others. This Basic Material might be frustrating to farm, but there is a way to potentially get six Anode Ion Particles in an attempt.

Making Ultimate Ajax or Greg’s Reversed Fate requires Anode Ion Particles in The First Descendant. So, if you aren’t sure of where to go or what to do to maximize your effort, we’re here to help.

The best place to farm Anode Ion Particles in The First Descendant

The best place to farm Anode Ion Particles in The First Descendant is the Deep Digger mission in the Corrupted Zone. The best type of build for this is one that excels at clearing enemies quickly. You have a chance at getting six of them per attempt, with two dropping from each Elite Vanguard unit that spawns.

The first one spawns at the Power Conduit section of the map, towards the beginning of the mission. Kill all the adds/enemies to make this Elite Vanguard spawn, and take them out for a chance to obtain Anode Ion Particles.

Then, in the last wave of this mission, two more Elites spawn, so swiftly defeat those. You also want a Sensor with a Higher Drop Chance for Consumables Perk equipped to it. That will help you farm a bit faster.

Another mission in Hagios can drop this item and that’s Broadband Fleet Beacon. This is another very simple mission, but keep your eye out for any Elites that spawn (yellow-named enemies), since these are the ones that drop the Anode Ion Particles. Other missions also drop the Particles, but these are arguably the two best ones.

Unfortunately, you’ll probably have to run these missions on Hard and do it over and over for your best chance. However, other players will likely be running them too since Anode Ion Particles are used in several patterns - whether Ultimate Ajax, Yujin, or Greg’s Reversed Fate.
