Diablo 4 has a great many useful crafting materials, and one of the most important is Obducite. It’s one of the resources used in Masterworking your equipment. So if you’re transitioning into the endgame and want your armor to be as powerful as it possibly can, you’re going to need some Obducite in your inventory.
However, you can’t really start farming it until you’re Level 60, so don’t stress about Obducite in Diablo 4 until then. Some of the advice in this article will be focused on the current season, Season 6, but the rest will be viable for Season 7 and beyond, until the developers change how and where to receive this crafting material.

Where to farm Obducite in Diablo 4
You can farm Obducite in Diablo 4 from Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes Runs, and Undercity of Kurast. It drops fairly regularly from all three of these locations, so part of it boils down to what you want to do in-game. It also depends on the type of resources and rewards you want from the content you’re completing. The higher level of Torment you're in, the greater the Obducite drops will be, as well.
In terms of speed, if you have a powerful speedfarming build, Nightmare Dungeons might be the way to go. You’ll find a solid amount of Obducite in your runs. If you’re going to do Nightmare Dungeons, pick the highest level one you can manage, and power through it for your Obducite in Diablo 4. However, since it drops on the ground, make sure to bring your pet in the game with you.
If you’re in the market for a variety of resources, including Obducite for your Masterworking in Diablo 4, I recommend doing Infernal Hordes runs. However, this is only if you’re really solid at farming tons of Aether in your runs. Do the tier level you’re most comfortable grinding, farm a ton of Aether, and use it on the Item Chest at the end. This should help you amass good amounts of Obducite and other materials.
You can also get Obducite in the Undercity of Kurast, but unless I have a Tribute of Refinement - which grants you Obducite - I don't really feel like it's worth the time invested. You might feel differently, though. I feel like the other two locations are better for both speed and rewards gained.
If you’re in Season 6, use a Seething Opal of Materials to increase your odds of picking up crafting mats; hopefully, it will result in Obducite. It’s just a little something to increase the chances of you getting something useful while you’re working on content.
