Diablo 4 Season 5 lets players do something unique: farm Triune War Chests from the seasonal activity. In Season 4 and other previous seasons, players only had a limited number of rewards they could receive from the event, and then they had to play other characters. That has since been changed, as some players have quickly discovered, by grinding to level 100 and rank 20 with the Triune faction.
It’s still worth it to play on multiple characters to farm Resplendent Sparks, but if you’re trying to get as much powerful gear as possible on one character - or simply gear to break down to improve your Tempers, there’s a relatively easy way to do that in Diablo 4 Season 5: Farm Triune War Chests.
Diablo 4 Season 5 lets players continually farm Triune War Chests
Though Diablo 4 Season 5 is only a few days old at this point, players have already maxed out their reputation with The Mother’s Gift to grind Triune War Chests. The ultimate reward for the faction is a Greater Triune Arms Cache, which contains a guaranteed 925 Ancestral Legendary, two Greater Affixes, and a Resplendent Spark. Normally, this would be where the grind ends for that character.
However, unlike in Season 4, players will receive an infinitely repeatable grind with The Mother’s Gift in Diablo 4: The Triune War Chest. It features a wealth of powerful items and rare crafting materials, and all you have to do is play the game exactly how you were before this.
While simply playing the game will give you this reputation easily enough, there are better, more efficient ways. If you’re looking to farm these chests on one character - or multiple - the idea is to grind out Infernal Hordes maps. Every few clears should give you a level, making it incredibly easy to swiftly max out reputation, and then farm Triune War Chests.
To access Infernal Hordes, start the questline, Of Lambs and Wolves, then complete the Lorcan quest line through The Mother’s Gift. Once you’ve done all the seasonal quests, you can head into World Tier 3 and take on this challenge.
Players who were doing Helltides have found out that it’s the slowest way to farm this reputation in Season 5. Instead, it’s all about slaying Elites/Bosses. We noticed this while playing, that Elites and Bosses drop massive amounts of reputation for The Mother’s Gift reputation.
In general, it’s incredibly easy to level up in Season 5, due to the shorter nature of this season’s duration. With that in mind, it’s much faster to hit World Tier 4 and start clearing harder Infernal Hordes and stacking as much reputation as you want. Some players are hitting level 100 in just a handful of hours. If you’re looking for powerful gear, this is a solid way to farm it by doing what you were already doing anyway.
