Using the fast travel system in Once Human can save you significant time and resources. The alternative is riding your vehicle around the map, which consumes fuel—a rare resource that will eventually run out. While you have to discover and activate the Teleportation Towers first, once activated, you can travel vast distances almost instantly with just a loading screen.

That said, the fast travel system in Once Human functions slightly differently from those in other MMOs. You can't fast travel from just anywhere on the map in this game; you must be near a Teleportation Tower to do it. However, there is a trick to bypass this limitation, allowing you to teleport to a tower from any location on the map.

Since you can fast travel to your base from anywhere on the map with a 10-minute cooldown, a great trick is to first fast travel to your base and then fast travel to the tower near your desired location. This allows you to circumvent the necessity to first go to a nearby Teleportation Tower on your vehicle, essentially saving you a lot of time by performing two back-to-back fast travels.
