Best way to farm Acid in Fallout 76

If you’re trying to farm Acid in Fallout 76, you should set up a Mineral Extractor on one of the veins in Hemlock Holes to produce 30 Acid every half-hour. This is just a passive bit of extra resource farming while you’re out working. You can set up Mineral extractors in other areas for Acid, but that one’s our favorite.

Other examples include:

  • Federal Disposal Field HZ-21
  • Southwest of Hopewell Cave
  • Abandoned Bog Town
  • Monongah Power Plant
  • Relay Tower LW-B1-22

One amazing place to farm Acid is at Flooded Trainyard, near Watoga Underground. Shortly after entering the zone, you should see a few Snallygasters - killing these will usually net a minimum of eight Acid each, making them a viable way to farm. You’ll find a few of these enemies in the Flooded Trainyard. You can then hop worlds to repeat the process and make even more Acid.

Tanagara Town is another amazing place to farm Acid in Fallout 76. In this area, you’ll be hunting down Cave Crickets, which can all drop Acid. It’s a very popular farming spot though, so that’s something to keep in mind. There are also other great zones where you can farm acid: The Deep, Dolly Sods Wilderness, and Philippi Battlefield Cemetery.

In general, tons of enemies can drop acid, or break down their parts for it. You can also complete the public event Campfire Tales, which is also a great way to get a Legendary Core. There are lots of bugs that spawn with this event, which means you could net lots of Acid that way.
