Artisan's Touch Deviant in Once Human is a friendly deviant that can be placed in your base within an Isolated Securement Unit. Unlike most friendly deviants like the Buzzy Bee and Growshroom, Artisan's Touch doesn't help you maintain your base and resources. Instead, you can activate its powers to craft a special item useful in difficult situations.
The game features a massive roster of Deviants. These creatures are a byproduct of the 'stardust' pollution that has engulfed the world and transformed most creatures into mutated monsters. While most of them are hostile towards you, some are friendly, like the Artisan's Touch. In this article, we have shared all the information you will need to obtain this Deviant.
Guide for getting the Artisan's Touch Deviant in Once Human
Obtaining friendly deviants in Once Human is a tedious process, often requiring significant grinding due to random drop chances. Unfortunately, Artisan's Touch is also one of them. To obtain it, you need to farm a specific enemy: The Scorcher. Once killed, this enemy has a chance of dropping the deviant.

Scorchers are massive ogre-like creatures with a detachable head that jumps out of the body and starts attacking you once you've done enough damage to the monster. While this monster may seem scary, it's not that hard to kill. Just keep dodging its ranged attacks and shoot at its head and exposed bits. Eventually, it will fall.
You can find this monster in the following locations:
- Greywater Industrial Zone (Iron River): Go to the upper level of the area, and you can find it near one of the warehouses.
- Hearst Industries (Broken Delta): Search the buildings, and you will find it in one of them.
- Eastern Railway Junction (Broken Delta): Look around the railroad tracks, and you will find the monster near a derailed train.

What is the use of Artisan's Touch Deviant?
Once you get the deviant, you will have to place it inside an Isolated Securement Unit to activate its abilities. Once activated, it will let you craft the All-Purpose Hand, a repair kit that can repair any of your gear with the lowest durability. You can craft this item using any supply bench. The materials required for crafting are:
- 40 Universal Toolkits
- 15 Acid
- 40 Stardust Source
- 1 (Beryllium/Iridium/Platinum) Crystal
In Once Human, all tools and gear lose durability and break when it reaches zero. Having this item in your inventory can be very handy in unfortunate situations. However, keep in mind it doesn't work with any looted gear.
