How to get Beret in Once Human

Beret in Once Human is headgear that provides extra firepower and protection, with a great visual appeal if you're going for an army look on your avatar. This massive game features various armor, weapons, mods, and Deviants. Among these, the Beret is one of the most versatile pieces of armor that can complement almost any build.

Like other gear in the game, obtaining the Beret involves a lot of RNG and grinding. There are currently two ways to get this headpiece. In this guide, we've shared all the necessary information you'll need to use these methods to get your hands on a Beret in Once Human.

Guide for getting Beret in Once Human

You can get the Beret in Once Human either by completing the Daughter's Greeting Side Quest or by pulling it using the Wish Machine. If you want to use the Daughter's Greeting Side Quest method, go straight to the Securement Silo SIGMA in Dyton Wetlands. It's a low-level area, so you can attempt this pretty early in the game.

Daughter's Greeting Side Quest Method

In front of the Silo, you'll meet T-Man, an eccentric NPC. You can't miss him thanks to his goofy TV-like mask. Talk to him and exhaust all of his dialogues to initiate the Daughter's Greeting Side Quest. Once initiated, go inside the Silo and follow the linear road path until you meet and kill Captain Dave.

Killing Captain Dave will complete the quest. Once completed, this quest has a chance of dropping 15 Beret Fragments. If you don't get the fragments on your first try, don't worry. Keep grinding the dungeon, and eventually, you'll have enough fragments to unlock the headgear. As a bonus, in Securement Silo SIGMA, you also have a chance to get the Mr. Wish Deviant.

If you want to unlock the Beret in Once Human through the Wish Machine, go to the machine and start pulling from the Echoes from the Past prize pool. Each pull will cost you 500 Starchroms. You can get Starchroms through Battle Pass rewards and Journey quest rewards.

The Beret in Once Human has the following Base stats:

• HP: 54
• Pollution Resist: 9
• Psi Intensity: 14

Its special effect gives Shrapnel Hit Part a +1 bonus.
