The Bionic Fuel module in The First Descendant is a game-changer for your Bunny and/or Ultimate Bunny. This module makes Speed of Light (C) use HP instead of MP. In effect, this eliminates Bunny's reliance on MP, so you can invest all of your External Components and module slots in survivability and skill effectiveness instead.

In this guide, we will go over how to get Bunny's Bionic Fuel Module in The First Descendant

The First Descendant Bionic Fuel Drop location: Where to get this module?

To get the Bionic Fuel module in The First Descendant, you must farm the Frost Walker boss. This is a Hard Void Intercept battle that you can encounter very late into the game, and it's a doozy in pubic squads due to the embers mechanic.

Bionic Fuel is also not a guaranteed drop, meaning you must familiarize yourself with the boss and farm it an indefinite number of times. The First Descendant does not provide the actual drop chance for Bionic Fuel, so we have no officially verifiable estimation of how many times you must beat Frost Walker.

Since it's a nightmare to run in public squads, we recommend you gather a pre-made squad to focus-farm the Frost Walker for a Bionic Fuel drop. Naturally, you'll also want to use bossing specs like a Gley build to make things more manageable.

What does the Bionic Fuel Bunny mod do in The First Descendant?

The Bionic Fuel mod does the following when slotted on Bunny or Ultimate Bunny in The First Descendant:

  • Decreases the overall acceleration during Speed of Light (C)
  • Speed of Light now consumes HP instead of MP.

Like all Trascendant-rarity modules, it can only be placed on the Skill Module slot, and its total mod Capacity Cost goes down when you rank up the Module.

While the HP consumption can easily be offset with Health orb pickups or HP Collector, the overall speed nerf makes it less worthwhile. Bunny is not unreasonably mana-intensive, so removing the MP reliance outright does not come out to much difference in practice. In our opinion, this mod needs to be buffed to justify the slot and opportunity cost.
