How to get Congealed Gas Balls in ARK Survival Ascended Aberration

With the arrival of the Aberration map, players are introduced to the Congealed Gas Balls in ARK Survival Ascended. Like other new materials in the game, this resource is used to craft various items. It's also fairly easy to collect as you only need a Gas Collector tool to extract Congealed Gas Balls from Gas Veins.

How to obtain Congealed Gas Balls in ARK Survival Ascended

As mentioned, you must use a Gas Collector to collect Congealed Gas Balls from Gas Veins.

If you do not have this tool yet, you can quickly craft it in the Refining Forge with the following materials:

• 75x Metal Ingot or Scrap Metal Ingot
• 60x Cementing Paste or Achatina Paste
• 40x Crystal or Primal Crystal
• 20x Red Gem or Red Crystalized Sap

Note that crafting a Gas Collector requires 35 Engram Points and Character Level 40.

Once you crafted your Gas Collector, go to the Aberration map and find Gas Veins characterized by pink nodes emitting pink gas. Place the Gas Collector on top of the Gas Vein to collect Congealed Gas Balls. The collector will extract gas balls slowly at a rate of one Congealed Gas Ball per 20 to 25 seconds.

The Gas Collector can hold up to 25 stacks of Congealed Glass Balls. It takes approximately 900 minutes to fill one Gas Collector.

Note that the collector is not immune to damage, so leaving it exposed to gases for a long time will cause corrosion and structural damage. When this happens, you simply have to repair the collector before using it again.
