How to get Controllers in Once Human

Controllers in Once Human are items used to claim the maximum rewards from bosses and Prime Wars, including gold mods, weapons, and some of the game's rarest resources. While you can claim these rewards without using Controllers, they alone aren't worth it, as there are better methods to farm them. Mods and Calibration Blueprints are the primary items required for having an optimal build, and without Controllers, you can't farm them effectively.

As you progress through the main storyline and complete various tasks in Once Human, you will passively earn Controllers. However, these won't be sufficient for your farming needs. There are three other methods to acquire a larger quantity of these items: purchasing them from vendors, completing Commissions, and participating in Public Crisis Events.

There are two vendors found in most of the Neutral Strongholds, Nisa and Severin VII-S2401. They each sell around 20 Controllers per season but require the following different currencies:

You can purchase Controllers in Once Human from Nisa using Sproutlets. Each Controller costs 100 Sproutlets, so you will need 2000 of this currency to buy all of her stock for the season. This currency can be earned by participating in PvP events like Cargo Scramble and Highway Pursuit.
On the other hand, you will need 40 Stellar Planulas to purchase Severin's stock of Controllers in Once Human, as he sells them for 2 Stellar Planulas each. This currency is earned by completing quests and solving riddles around the map.

Commissions are weekly tasks you can access by summoning your companion V after holding the Tab key on the keyboard. Interact with him by pressing F and then selecting the View Commissions option to see the available tasks.

There are eight new tasks each week, out of which you can select up to five. They have simple objectives like defeating a certain number of enemies, and completing them can earn you up to 25 Controllers.

Lastly, once you have purchased all the available Controllers in Once Human and completed all the Commissions, the only way to farm them is to complete Public Crisis Events. These events can be selected by opening the map and clicking the red eye icon. They only drop one Controller each, so it's not efficient to farm them this way, but it's your only option if you have exhausted all other methods.
