Certain locations are excellent for farming fertilizer in Fallout 76. These often contain Bags of fertilizer or other relevant items that can be scrapped for the resource. For example, Flatwoods has a community garden with a moderate amount of fertilizer.

Likewise, Lewis and Sons Farm Supply’s greenhouses are another reliable source, while Whitespring Golf Club has several bags behind the buildings to the right and on the wooden terrace near the President’s House.

The Wixon Homestead’s tool shed in the middle of the field also contains multiple Bags of fertilizer, making it a convenient spot for farming. However, the Vault-Tec Agricultural Research Center is arguably the best location, with numerous Bags of fertilizers found in its greenhouses.

Crafting fertilizer

Spoiled food items can be converted into Raw fertilizer at a Chemistry Station. The crafting recipe requires 10 Spoiled Fruit, 10 Spoiled Meat, and 10 Spoiled Vegetables, which yield 1 unit of Raw fertilizer. This method is one of the most efficient ways of getting fertilizer since you end up accumulating a lot of spoiled food while playing the game.
