The Gingerbread House in Once Human is a Friendly Deviant. True to its name, the Deviant looks like a house made of gingerbread, reminiscent of old bedtime stories. However, just like in those stories, this Deviant, although friendly, is quite dubious, as it's responsible for multiple missing persons cases.
Finding this Deviant isn't too difficult, but catching it requires some effort. To make your hunt for the Gingerbread House Deviant as straightforward as possible, this article shares all the necessary information.
Guide to acquire the Gingerbread House Deviant in Once Human
To start your quest for the Gingerbread House, first go to the Greywater Camp settlement in Iron River. The recommended level for this area is 25. In the settlement, you'll find your friendly neighborhood Deviant enthusiast, Lowe. Talk to him, and he'll give you the Morphic Decoy quest.

The backstory of the quest, as shared by Lowe, is that near the settlement there's a souvenir shop where people are mysteriously disappearing. He'll ask you to investigate the shop. Once you're near the location, you'll encounter some enemy Deviants roaming around. Quickly kill them and enter the store.
Look around and you'll find a Gingerbread House sitting in the corner. Interact with it, and you'll be teleported to an alternate dimension. Here, the Gingerbread House will transform into one of the stuffed Alpacas around the store. Fortunately, it's not very good at blending in with its surroundings – you'll find a lone Alpaca sitting in the corner.

Interact with it to find your Gingerbread Deviant, returning you to normal reality. Then, return to Lowe and talk to him to complete the quest. Afterward, head back to your base. Use an Isolated Securement Unit to place the Deviant in it and activate its ability. Once activated, it will produce Cracker Crumbs. These can be used to make Transformation Cookies.
By consuming these cookies, you can morph a random piece of object and blend it into your surroundings, much like the Deviant itself.
