How to get Legendary Compact Infrared Indicator in Once Human

Among Once Human’s many legendary pickups, the Compact Infrared Indicator is a fantastic option for your weapons. However, like other useful equipment attachments, it’s hidden behind a puzzle that’s incredibly easy to miss as you explore this post-apocalyptic MMO. The goal is to keep an eye on the sky and shoot a moving balloon. Doing this successfully will net you this great item.

Whether it’s jumping on lilypads for the Legendary Extended Rifle Mag, or shooting balloons, many of the great attachments in Once Human involve going out of your way to solve a weird puzzle. If you want the Legendary Compact Infrared Indicator, here’s what you need to do in Once Human.

Where to find the Legendary Compact Infrared Indicator in Once Human

You can find Once Human’s Legendary Compact Infrared Indicator in the Red Sands (2347, -227). It’s west of Sunshine Farm, and there’s a road that leads right up to the area you need to go to. It’s also north of the Forsaken Monolith if you need another indicator of where you’re traveling.

Once you’re there, look for a Balloon in the sky. Similar to the Legendary Tactical Combine Grip, you’re going to need to shoot this balloon a few times while it's still in the sky. However, it will move each time you pop it, and there won't be a lot of time between movements before this puzzle resets.

You need to keep the Balloon in your sight as long as possible. In our experience, it moved west nearby, then practically behind you for the third shot. If you don’t follow it across the sky as it moves, it might reset. Do not scope in - aim over the shoulder instead.

Once you pop the balloon for the third time, a blue chest will drop on the ground and you can scoop up your rewards. It features Energy Links, Stellar Planula, the Legendary Compact Infrared Indicator, and a Controller as your reward for solving the puzzle.

This tactical slot attachment can work for a wide assortment of guns and grants +16 Stability, and +8.0% Aiming Speed. That makes the Legendary Compact Infrared Indicator a desirable tactical attachment for your guns. It can be attached to the following weapon types:
