Meteorite Fragments in Palworld is a brand-new crafting material added in the Sakurajima update. Besides being a new addition, Meteorite Fragments are also one of the rarest items in the game. If you're not familiar with the location, finding this resource can be quite a challenge.

How to find Meteorite Fragments in Palworld

It is a bit tricky to find Meteorite Fragments in Palworld. This is because, unlike other resources in this game, Meteorite Fragments do not spawn on the island. They land on Palpagos Island whenever there is a meteor shower near your location.

Once you find a meteor shower on Palpagos Island, go near it and farm as many Meteorite Fragments as you want. Be careful of Xenovader. This is an extremely powerful Pal that spawns near the meteor shower point of interest. If you are not prepared for the fight with this new Pal, you can get eliminated.

If the meteor shower happens on Sakurajima Island, you will see a Selyne next to the meteor shower point of interest. Xenovader will not spawn when Selyne is present and vice versa.

The meteor shower has no fixed drop point. The location of the meteor showers is completely random but it will almost always be near your current location. So, you will not have to travel too much to find this point of interest.

It is important to note that you must collect all the loot from one meteor shower if you want to trigger a new one. Unless you pick up everything from the current point of interest, the game will not trigger a new meteor shower. So, if you want more Meteorite Fragments in Palworld, make sure you harvest an existing event till there is nothing left.

How to use Meteorite Fragments in Palworld

You can use Meteorite Fragments for the following technologies:

Selyne Saddle: This is a Pal Gear for Selyne which is a brand-new Pal in Palworld. Using this Pal Gear, you can ride on Selyne and explore the new island.
Xenogard Saddle: Similar to the previous entry, you can use a Xenogard Saddle to ride Xenogard which is another new Pal added in the Sakurajima Update.
Meteor Launcher: This is a new Ancient Technology that does 2,000 damage and can shoot targets from afar
Meteorite Bullet: This ammunition for the Meteor Launcher.

These items can be crafted in their respective workbenches or assembly lines and your inventory must have Meteorite Fragments if you want to craft and use them.
