Every season in Destiny 2, Bungie introduces a new seasonal artifact. This item is associated with the seasonal storyline and contains seasonal mods. These mods grant players abilities that can assist them in fights against the enemies of the system. Ever since the Lightfall expansion went live, these seasonal artifacts received a major overhaul in terms of mod unlocks and artifact resets.

The seasonal artifact for Destiny 2 Season of the Deep is known as the NPA Repulsor Regulator and can be acquired quite early on in the game. Here's how to get it.

Since the seasonal artifacts are directly tied to the storyline, the only way to get them is by playing through the storyline mission. To get the NPA Repulsor Regulator in Destiny 2 Season of the Deep, you must complete the season's first mission.

The mission starts off with Deputy Commander Sloane requesting assistance on Titan. Once you land on one of the rigs on the destination, you will have to make your way to reset the communications array. On your way to the array, you will encounter many Taken and Hive enemies. You will also come across three Hive Deathsong towers which belong to Xivu Arath, the Hive God of War.

Once you've disabled all three towers, you will face a huge Hive Knight. But you don't have to defeat this monstrosity right now. After you've dealt about 25% damage, this enemy will summon a shield and then disappear. Clear the area of enemies, and then make your way to the comms array.

In the room with the comms array, travel to the right side of the room and pick up the power cell. Come back to the array and interact with it. After the power cell is inserted, you can interact with the four machines. Keep interacting with them till the signal turns green. Once all four machines have been aligned, Commander Zavala will tell you that Sloane's signal is coming from 1km below you.

As you make your way down, you won't be able to handle the pressure. But then the Drifter will teleport you to his Derelict and hand you a device that will help you survive the pressure of the ocean. Once you begin your journey underwater in Destiny 2 Season of the Deep, pass through the bubbles because they will restore the pressure gauge, letting you survive longer.

As you head downwards, you must open hatches to keep progressing to the next room. Pull the red levers on the wall the hatch will open. Once you've hit the ocean floor, all you need to do is keep making your way to the marker, and you'll eventually reach Deputy Commander Sloane in Destiny 2 Season of the Deep, who also happens to be partly Taken.

After a small cutscene, you'll be asked to move back to the H.E.L.M., which, surprisingly, is underwater. Interact with the radio here, and you'll receive a message from Sloane, who will finally hand you the NPA Repulsor Regulator, which happens to be the seasonal artifact for Destiny 2 Season of the Deep.
