How to get Polar Jelly Deviant in Once Human

Polar Jelly is one of the best friendly combat deviants available in Once Human. This Deviant can control large groups of enemies with its freeze attacks and other abilities. However, getting the Polar Jelly Deviant in Once Human is very difficult. Not only does this deviant have a low drop chance, but the steps needed to obtain it are also complex.

The world of Once Human is a post-apocalyptic realm ruined by an eldritch infection that has turned normal human beings into vicious monsters. In this bleak reality, you will need all the help you can get, and friendly deviants like Mr. Wish and Polar Jelly are some of the best combat support you can find in the game.

Guide to getting the Polar Jelly Deviant in Once Human

Unlike other friendly Deviants, you can't just find the Polar Jelly in the wild. The Deviant can only be acquired by participating in the Cargo Scramble event. This event can pop up on the map every game night from 9 pm to 10 pm. The locations for this event are mostly random. Keep an eye out for a red truck sign on the map to know where the event is being initiated.

Once you figure out where the event is happening and reach the location, you will see a Rosetta Truck transporting Sproutlets. The first thing you need to do is destroy this truck. You can shoot it down or ram it with your vehicle. Once the truck is destroyed, the event begins. Be on your toes, as this is going to be a PvP event.

When the truck is destroyed, it will release blobs of Sproutlet jelly. You will need to be the closest player to the truck to get chosen by the Seed of Life. Once you are chosen, a jellyfish-like creature will appear on your head. If you aren't the closest and the Jellyfish chooses someone else, you will have to kill them to get chosen by it.

Once chosen, defend yourself. The goal is to hold the Jellyfish for as long as you can. When the Jellyfish is on top of your head, you will constantly get Sproutlets, and there is a chance that the Polar Jelly Deviant will appear in your inventory. Since the chances are extremely low, you may have to hold on for a while to get the Deviant. Owing to this event's difficulty, equip yourself with your best gear before attempting to get this deviant.
