How to get the Space Turner Deviant in Once Human

The Space Turner Deviant is arguably one of Once Human’s most useful and powerful Deviant creatures, provided you like teleportation. This particular Deviant creates Spatial Keystones, which are incredibly useful if you want to work with other players. Thankfully, getting this pal added to your collection is not terribly complex. You’ll have to deal with a minor puzzle, but as long as you know what to do, it’ll be a piece of cake.

While this isn't a combat Deviant, don’t underestimate the utility of a Space Turner Deviant in Once Human. The ability to summon your allies to you will make many fights and even just exploring the world so much easier.

Where to find Space Turner Deviant in Once Human

West of the Monolith of Greed (home to the Ravenous Hunter boss), you’ll find the steps to begin unlocking the Space Turner Deviant in Once Human. Enter the Dayton Warehouse and speak to Paul. He needs Emergency Medicine, which can be found at Dayton Hospital. Agree to help him and head to the hospital’s second floor.

You won’t be alone though, so make sure you’re kitted out with quality weapons and a good combat Deviant companion just in case. Grab the Medicine and that will begin a puzzle you need to solve. Follow the red wheelchair into the next room and you’ll see a door on each wall and a black calendar. This is the next step of unlocking the Space Turner Deviant in Once Human. The goal is to make the calendar go from January 23 to September 15.

When facing the calendar, each door changes the date on the calendar, depending on which one you go through. Here’s what you need to know (assuming you are looking toward the calendar).

• The Door in front of you moves the date back one day.
• The Door behind you moves the date ahead one day.
• The Door to the left moves the month backward by one month.
• The Door to the right moves the month ahead by one month.

You can check the calendar at any time to see the current month/date. Enter the doors in any fashion you see fit, move the calendar to September 15, and solve the puzzle. Once you’re done, use the phone at the Nurse's Station to open a door. Interact with the Deviant on the Red Wheelchair to get the Space Turner Deviant in Once Human.

Conversely, you can head to an area out in the world, if you want to try your luck. Head to Dayton Wetlands, coordinates (6504, -5216), southeast of Throughville. It’s worth pointing out that you might see the Strange Door deviant here instead. If that’s the case, switch worlds and try again.

What does the Space Turner Deviant do in Once Human?

When the Space Turner Deviant is in an Isolated Securement Unit, it will churn out Spatial Keystones for you. These allow you to create Space Twisters, which can summon an ally to your exact location. This makes doing group-based content so much easier. However, if you improve the mood of the Space Turner, it will create these at a faster rate.

It’s not too hard to improve the mood of the Space Turner Deviant. Make sure you put the Isolated Securement Unit near some blue light and set a toy or two next to it. That will increase the gadget deviant’s mood and let you pick these items up much faster.
