In Once Human, Toys can be both cool decorations for your territory and items with use for your Deviants. Every Deviant has their own list of interests that will boost their mood faster, and several companions include Toys in their lists. There are two main ways to obtain these items. Thankfully, there is also a totally free option to obtain them for players who do not wish to pay for micro-transactions.
In this guide we'll explain how to obtain Toys in Once Human, both with real and in-game currency, as well as how and where to place them.

Where to get Once Human Toys
There are two main methods of obtaining Toys in Once Human, one guaranteed and the other involving RNG. The first method will require you to have premium currency on your account, and the second will require Starchrom.
To access the first method, open your main menu using the 'ESC' key (on PC) and navigate to the premium shop. From here, you can find a selection of available items for sale. After purchasing one, it will become available for you to place inside your home base. You can use both Crystgin and Silver Keys to purchase different Toys.
The second method is accessed at the Once Human Wish Machine, which can be reached through the main quest story. When you've interacted with the Wish Machine, you will need to spend 500 Starchrom to have a chance with the gacha mechanic.
What you get from this machine is entirely random, but you will have a chance of receiving a Toy. You can collect Starchrom through Seasonal Tasks and Events, so if you need more, check what can be done in your Seasonal menu.

How to use Once Human Toys
If you've been working on automating your home base, you probably have several different Deviants inside. Each of these companions requires their own Independent Secure Unit to be housed in and restore their energy.
Setting these minions, like the Once Human Digby Boy, to work frequently will net a lot of resources but also drain their mood. To help raise the mood of your different minions quickly, make sure to place their Independent Secure Units with free space around them.
By hitting the 'B' key (on PC), you can open the build menu and select any Toys you have access to. Place these items in the free space around your secure units, making sure they're closest to the minions that benefit the most from them. Doing this will boost the speed at which their mood is restored and get them back to gathering for you faster.
