How to get the Transient Whisperer emblem in Destiny 2

The Encore Exotic mission brought in several new puzzles and collectibles in Destiny 2, all being parts of triumphs and seals. However, one specific mystery in the mission can lead players to a beautiful emblem called Transient Whisperer, found in the depths of the tileset. This is a Legendary emblem requiring players to have the Whisper of the Worm Exotic Sniper Rifle, and a proper build to speedrun the mission.

This article lists everything you must do to get the Transient Whisperer emblem in Encore, and all the prerequisites.

Transient Whisperer emblem guide in Destiny 2

1) Setting up

Launch the Encore Exotic mission in Expert difficulty from the HELM. The mission version can be anything here, between Overture, Concerto, and Coda. Make sure to have the Whisper of the Worm Exotic Sniper Rifle in your inventory. The power level of the weapon does not matter.

Once you spawn in, instead of heading to the usual ledge on the right, start heading straight and go past the Vex pool in the middle.

Keep to the left side of the pool, and walk until you end up on the edge of the surface. The image below should help you navigate to where you need to be.

Look down, and start descending by stepping on the green platforms until you see a narrow entrance to a cave.

Enter the cave and keep following the linear path until it leads you behind a waterfall. Here, you will find the Whisper symbol carved on a wall.

Stand in front of the symbol, and then equip the Whisper of the Worm Exotic. The wall should now open up.

Enter through the opened space, and approach the portal at the end of the area. You can now equip a different weapon in your Heavy slot. Pass through the portal to begin the next sequence.

2) Expert Encore in 35 minutes

After passing through the portal, the game will spawn you in the first location of the Encore mission. Only this time, there will be a 35-minute counter. Hence, you must finish the Encore Exotic mission in 35 minutes. Defeating the final boss before the timer runs out will drop the Transient Whisperer emblem.
