Palworld’s Sakurajima update offered quite a few new features, including the mighty Ultimate Sphere. It’s described as a sphere powerful enough that “Almost no Pals can escape its flawless design.” However, unlike Pokemon and its Master Ball, players in this MMO can craft these for themselves without waiting for a late-game story trigger. Once you’ve reached a certain point in the game, you can unlock these for yourself, but they will require effort.

While many things were changed or updated in the June 27, 2024, Sakurajima update for Palworld, the Ultimate Sphere might be one of the most important. Even the most powerful Pals will easily be caught by this mighty sphere. Here’s how you can get one.

You can make the Ultimate Sphere in Palworld once you’ve met certain requirements. In this case, you need Technology Level 51, and it costs 5 Technology Points. That’s what it takes to actually just make the item, though you’ll also have to come up with some particular crafting materials.

Once you have Technology Level 51 and the Sphere Assembly Line II, you can start making Ultimate Spheres to capture Palworld Pals in. You’ll need the following materials to make one of these incredible items:

  • Paldium Fragment x20
  • Pal Metal Ingot x10
  • Carbon Fiber x5
  • Plasteel x5

Paldium Fragments are fairly common, they can be farmed out of regular rocks or by mining Paldium nodes that are all over the world. Just Pickaxe at them until you’ve got everything you can get.

Pal Metal Ingots take more work, requiring 4 Ore and 2 Paldium Fragments, and can be crafted at Technology Level 44, with an Electric Furnace. Using a Production Assembly Line, you can use 2 Coal and 5 Charcoal to make the Carbon Fiber, once you’ve hit Technology Level 35.

While the first three ingredients were already a part of Palworld, if you want an Ultimate Sphere, you need a new crafting material: Plasteel. It requires an Electric Furnace to craft, and then it requires the following items:

  • Crude Oil x5
  • Paldium Fragment x5
  • Ore x10

Once you’ve got these materials together, you can make as many Ultimate Spheres as you want, and capture even the most powerful Pals with greater ease, like any of the new ones added in this latest update. It’s worth noting that this is not a guaranteed capture rate, though - this isn’t a Master Ball. It is as close as players can get right now, though.
