Burning Aether is one of the most important resources in Diablo 4 Season 5. The latest season has brought a plethora of content to the game, including new loot that can be found in chests in the new Infernal Hordes mode. However, to open the most expensive chests, you will need Burning Aether.
The newly introduced Infernal Hordes mode is a rogue-lite that unlocks in the end-game. This mode is the best way to farm and hoard Burning Aether in Diablo 4. You will need to fight waves of enemies in Infernal Hordes to obtain enough of the resource. In this article, we have shared some methods that you can use to collect Burning Aether in Diablo 4.
Guide for Getting Burning Aether in Diablo 4
Burning Aether can be obtained by killing Aether Fiends and Aether Lords in the Infernal Hordes mode. These Aether enemies spawn in every wave, and you will get an audio cue whenever they appear on the map. Additionally, you can get Burning Aether by completing certain challenges or Infernal Offers.

Before entering each wave, you will be presented with various Infernal Offers. Each of these challenges you choose will make your run more difficult. The chosen Infernal Offers can stack and last throughout the run, so beware of how many you accept. However, the more Infernal Offers you take, the more Aether you will get.
After choosing your offers, continue with your run. You have to face multiple waves of enemies that spawn until you reach the final wave with the boss. Infernal Horde is a rogue-lite mode, so dying is not a big deal here. However, keep in mind that you can receive your Burning Aether and open chests using them only after you beat the final wave and defeat the boss.
