Restoration Coins are one of Throne and Liberty's many currencies. These, in particular, look similar to Growthstones, except for the heart symbol crested on them. These are obtained from the occasional Contract or as Codex rewards, and many players are confused as to what exactly they are used for — as their usage in the earlier versions of the game was different.

This guide shares everything you need to know about the Restoration Coins in Throne and Liberty.

Restoration Coins are a form of currency in Throne and Liberty that currently holds a sort of placeholder position. In the pre-Global-release version of the game, these were much more self-explanatory — Restoration Coins were used to repair equipment durability and regain lost XP due to death.

The equipment duration system no longer exists in the current version of this title, in neither the global version nor the Korean client. Furthermore, the XP loss system has also been removed, as it virtually became a non-factor once you hit the max level in Throne and Liberty anyway.

Currently, Restoration Coins' use is limited to reducing your respawn-time penalty once you die in very specific zones. An example of this would be dying serially in a PvP conflict zone. Nevertheless, these debuffs can also be removed with Sollant by talking to an Einar Priestress (or free of any cost whatsoever in case of your first three deaths in a day).

Completing quests

Restoration Coins are frequently awarded as rewards for completing quests. As you progress through both main story missions and side quests, especially in more challenging zones, you'll be rewarded with these coins.

Dungeon runs

Taking on dungeons, particularly difficult raid-style dungeons, will often give Restoration Coins as a reward for defeating powerful enemies and bosses. Since dungeon encounters can wear down your gear, Restoration Coins are essential to maintain your equipment's strength.

Special events

Participating in seasonal events or holiday-based challenges often yields Restoration Coins as part of limited-time rewards. These events are an excellent way to stock up on coins without extensive grinding.

Daily and weekly tasks

Engage in daily and weekly activities to earn additional coins. These can range from defeating a certain number of enemies to completing group challenges.

In-game purchases

If you need Restoration Coins urgently, you can purchase them through the in-game shop using real money. Seeing how limited their use case is at the moment, this is currently ill-advised.

Even though Restoration Coins in Throne and Liberty feel like they have very little use, their functionality may be expanded with future updates. Meanwhile, check out our other guides on the game:
