You can grow Wheat at your Kingsmarch Settlement in Path of Exile 3.25. In order to farm it, you must build Farms and grow the crop with the help of NPC farmers whom you can recruit.

Given below are the steps to follow to farm Wheat:

  • Go to your Kingsmarch Settlement and get to the Town Hall. Once there, click on "Town Improvements', which will appear as a hammer icon.
  • After that, you need to upgrade your Settlement to Rank 2. The upgrade will cost you 15 Gold and five Orichalcum Ore.
  • After that, go to Sonja, whom you will find on the north-west side of Kingsmarch. Spend 50 Gold there to unlock the Farm.
  • Farm Rank 1 will give you access to two Farming Plots. Select Wheat as the Farming Resource and start growing it.
  • Then, go to the Town Hall and talk to Raulf, who is a recruiter, and recruit a couple of Farmers who would tend to your Farm.
  • After a given amount of time, you will start getting Wheat.

Note that you must have enough Gold to pay the Farmers' wages.

Since Wheat is a Crop Resource, its main use is to open up Trade Routes with other settlements through the Harbour at Kingsmarch. Riben Fell is the first Trade Route that you get access to, and Wheat is the Favoured Resource for the place.

Upon sending the first 16 units of Wheat to Riben Fell, you will get 40% more favor when you try to determine the rewards you want from the Trade Route.
