Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty are two of the most basic yet crucial resources you'll need to keep in mind. While the default inventory space you're given is abundant initially, organizing things can be tricky for players, especially when farming and trying to carry plenty of loot in their inventory. Fortunately, the game offers the option to expand or upgrade both features.
The Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty can be increased by following the same steps for all supported platforms. It is an easy method that can be completed after players gather some loot alongside currency to pay for the actual upgrade.
This article will highlight the ways to increase Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty.
What is Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty?
Carry Capacity refers to the number of items or resources that a player can carry around in the game world of Throne and Liberty. There's no carryweight mechanic in this game, and the limitation is dedicated item slots. At the start of their adventure, all players are allotted 130 slots in their inventory to accommodate the initial farm phase and loot. But this fills up quite quickly, meaning you either need to dissolve useless gear or dump some resources in the town.
This is where Storage comes into play, initially with only 20 slots, and acts as a stationary deposit point for players to keep their loot safe. It can be used to store items that are not in immediate need and cannot be used by keeping in the personal inventory. You can, for example, store gathered resources, Growthstone, and other crafting and growth materials till you want to start using them.

How to increase Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty
The Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty can be increased by visiting any of the Major Towns. Here is a quick guide you can use to increase the capacities for both:
- Find and interact with the Storage Manager in any major town. The manager can be identified with the help of a unique Chest icon.
- Once you interact with the character, look through the Storage and Carrying Capacity screen that showcases the total slots available.
- At the bottom of the screen, you can see a “+” icon next to each of the storage options. This is the option that you must click to increase the slots for both.
- You can then choose which slots you want to upgrade and pay the necessary cost to gain access to a bigger inventory.
The Storage starts out small with only 20 slots, but expanding it is cheap. The first five additional slots will cost you a total of 5000 Solant, and the cost increases exponentially upon additional purchases:
- 7500 for 30 slots
- 10000 for 35 slots
- 15000 for 40 slots
- 25000 for 45 slots
- and so on.
However, if you wish to get more slots in the inventory, it will incur a hefty price tag of 250,000 Solant for just the first 5 extra slot cap. Nevertheless, in the late game, you'll be swimming in enough Sollants that you can afford to upgrade your inventory storage rather than having to go back to town and fiddle with remote storage shenanigans.

Why is it important to increase Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty?
Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty are directly linked to the items you can gather in the game - be it in the inventory, town storage, or both combined. It is crucial to expand one’s ability to store more resources as the game will likely provide rare materials and items that eat up more space. In such a scenario, players may need to choose between keeping and discarding certain loot which could be important for the later stages of the game.
A bigger inventory and storage enable players to spend more time completing quests and gathering items without needing to make tedious trips to the town for storage. It is best to keep the necessary items in the inventory and dump everything else in the storage to be used later.
