If you want to survive Stardust, Pollution Resistance in Once Human is incredibly important. You might be a powerful Meta-Human, but you aren’t immune to the ravaged world you’re now surrounded by. Keeping up with Pollution Resistance might feel difficult at first, but you’ll get used to the loop as you progress deeper in the game. Taking pollution damage is more than just a physical issue though, it also affects your Sanity.
In addition to keeping up with Pollution Resistance in Once Human, you’ll need to upkeep your Sanity. Thankfully, at least one consumable in the game helps with both of these at once. Here are some tips on keeping up against the dangerous Stardust.
Tips for improving your Pollution Resistance in Once Human
Your Once Human Pollution Resistance generally comes down to what you’re equipped with. Each piece of gear has Pollution Resistance built in, and the better your gear is, the higher the rating is likely to be. That means you'll want to keep up with having equipment that is as up-to-date as possible in this survival MMO.
The most important early-game armor set you should have is the Test Subject Outfit. Craft it at the Armor Crafting workbench, and even the Tier 1 set is worth having. However, as time goes on, you’ll want to get better and better versions of it. Having the full set on gives you a solid amount of Pollution Resistance in Once Human.
The deeper you go into the game, the more important it will be to have good armor with decent Pollution Resistance. You’ll certainly want to invest time in getting better Blueprints in the game, so you can craft better gear, and thus, survive longer. However, even having good gear isn’t always going to be enough.
One consumable that’s worth crafting is the Fruity Sanity Capsule. As you take Poison Damage, you’re also going to lose sanity, and that’s dangerous. The Fruity Sanity Capsule gives you back +1000 Sanity and gives you 1,800s of the Pollution Resistance Boost buff. This is found under Logistics 4, Dishes III.
When playing Once Human and dealing with Pollution Resistance, the most important thing to have is higher-tier gear. The better your loadout, the more you can survive. This will make crafting gear (or trading with friends) a crucial aspect of surviving this post-apocalyptic world.
