As you progress through Once Human, you might need to move your territory. There can be many reasons for this — you might not have chosen a flat surface to put down the Terminal the first time, your base needs better space for growth, you have simply found a better spot, etc.

Thankfully, relocating your entire territory in Once Human is as simple as using a two-button combo. The new base keeps the old layout to boot. However, there are a few caveats that you might need to keep in mind before you try this.

To move your territory to a new desired location in Once Human, all you have to do is press B to enter building mode, press Z, and put down your base by making a click. Granted, you do need to find the right spot where you can claim territory.

The usual rules for placing your Territory Terminal apply here. This means you cannot settle down next to roads, in safe zones, or in someone else's base. Generally, a set of white grids in the building mode will indicate the barriers of other players' territories.

As mentioned earlier, the option to move your base in Once Human in this manner comes with a few conditions. Firstly, after you do it once, there is a cooldown period during which you cannot relocate again. Depending on your level and the size of your house, this can be anything from 10 minutes to 24 hours in real time. This is so that players cannot abuse the mechanic in PvP multiplayer servers.

After you have moved your base in Once Human, it should maintain the exact same layout as if you had a barebones living box with basic necessities. However, depending on barrier limitations and other factors, complex multi-story housing setups will not be replicated completely.

If your base of operations was a big enterprise, you may find some furniture or decorations missing on the new spot. Don't worry, though, as their building materials will be refunded in your Territory Terminal Vault.
